In first person narration the story is told from the point view of a character in the story.  This can be any character, although it is usually the main character (the protagonist), or the narrator of the story.  The story is told through use of I, as if that person is speaking to us directly.  An example is: “Reader, I married him.”  Jayne Eyre, Charlotte Brontë.
